• Holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance Concentration) and a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Minor in Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, USA as well as an Executive Development Program Diploma in Critical Issues and Strategic Planning for Top Industry Executives from the University of Nevada, Reno, USA.
• Possesses more than 30 years of experience in corporate management and international marketing, specialising in the gaming, hospitality and entertainment industries across Asia.
• Began his career at United Overseas Bank (1993-1995) as a Senior Officer in Corporate Banking. Subsequently, held senior roles at Legend International Resorts Ltd (1995-1999) as Chief Marketing Officer, Business Development, Fontana Leisure Park and Casino (1999-2001) as Chief Operating Officer and Club Waterfront International Ltd (2001-2003) as Executive Director.
• Served as Strategy Advisor at Tabcorp Holdings Limited (2005) before joining Venetian Macau Limited (2005-2008) as Vice President, Business Development, where he played a pivotal role in the bid team for the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort licence in Singapore. Thereafter, served as Executive Vice President, International Marketing at Melco Crown Resorts & Entertainment (2009-2015) and Executive Vice President, International Marketing at Sands China Ltd since May 2015, overseeing VIP and junket operations and formulating strategic market initiatives across Asia.
• Actively contributes to the business community in Macau and has held leadership positions in various chambers of commerce, including serving as the Founder Chairman of the Macao Malaysian Chamber of Commerce.
